Shani has two children who attend the local middle & senior school. Becoming involved in School Council as Treasurer and then Chair, she has been a part of school governance for the last 3 years.
Born and raised in Darwin, Shani strongly believes in supporting government schools to provide better outcomes for all students and stronger community connections.
