NTCOGSO provides representation and services to affiliated government schools in the Northern Territory
Our members benefit from NTCOGSO’s dedicated advocacy, tackling cost-shifting and championing full funding for every school to receive the support they deserve.

Our Representation
We create change by engaging with families, school communities, governments and their departments, informed by the motions of the NT Full Council.
Representation at regular meetings with the Minister for Education, and the Chief Executive (CE).
Representation on key decision-making committees within the Department of Education and Training, as well as direct advocacy to the Northern Territory and Federal Members of Parliament.
Member Support
The NTCOGSO Executive Committee includes representatives from each NT region who represent their affiliated schools. Representatives are available, by invitation, to attend School Body meetings to assist and advise where required.

Annual Full Council
The main decision-making body of NTCOGSO is the Full Council, meeting once a year in Semester 2. Each affiliated school is entitled to be represented by a delegate/s, dependent on school enrolment numbers. The Full Council determines policy and responds to priority education issues.
