OPERATIONAL TEAM

Michelle Parker
Michelle is responsible for supporting and enabling the Executive to fulfil its governance functions in line with NT COGSO policy and constitution. Providing executive leadership, operational management and direction to achieve NT COGSO's Mission, Vision and Strategic Objectives.
With an extensive background in Governance and Compliance, School Business Management, Mediation and having held various positions on Education Boards and Associations, Michelle is a passionate advocate for the provision of high quality education without discrimination and on the basis of equal opportunity for every child.

Harry Ebert
Harry brings a strong background in education and communications to his role as Project Officer - Communications and Social Media at NTCOGSO.
Before joining NTCOGSO, Harry worked as a teacher for eight years in both South Australia and the Northern Territory, across a range of settings and year levels, including mainstream primary schools and a remote Aboriginal community. His diverse experience has fuelled a deep passion for improving educational opportunities for all students, no matter where they live or learn.
With a strong interest in technology, digital communication, and creative engagement strategies, Harry is passionate about using social media and online platforms to build community connections, celebrate achievements, and amplify the voices of families and schools across the Territory. He is excited to combine his teaching experience and love of digital media to support NTCOGSO’s mission of empowering families and strengthening public education in the Northern Territory.

Effie Kathopoulis
Effie is a highly capable and dedicated addition to our team, bringing excellent organisational skills and a positive attitude to everything she does. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, Effie quickly adapts to new challenges and ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She is passionate about supporting our mission and contributing to the continued success of our work.

Project Manager Community Engagement and Governance
Alice is the central point of contact in relation to governance training, school community engagement, mentoring support and advice to ensure the Governance Training Program outcomes are successfully achieved.
Previously holding office bearer positions on a School Council combined with a background in business management, project and event management and governance training, Alice is passionate about enabling all school communities to establish and maintain genuine engagement and meaningful partnerships through best practice governance and decision making.
