Back in May, we were thrilled to announce the winners of our 2026 Student Art Competition. However, in the gift that keeps on giving - we were thrilled to display all 66 entries at our recent Annual Full Council conference for delegates to admire and also vote their favourite piece!
Joining the top three original winners (with a tie of 6 votes each) are Nathan McKendry, a Year 12 student from Driver High School with his stunning turtle painting, and Johlize Erasmus, a Year 9 from Katherine High School with her gorgeous acrylic piece.
Many other artists from this year's entries received a vote or two - showing the range of eyes and hearts captured by the creations. Once again, we thank everyone for entering. We can't wait to return the competition in Term 2 of next year!
