Our student art competition is back for 2026, after a successful inaugural launch last year!
Submit your creative piece for a chance to be featured in NTCOGSO's digital and print publications, including our 2025-26 Annual Report.
This year, we are thrilled to have Jacksons Art Supplies on board as a proud sponsor - providing gift vouchers to their art stores for the winning entries.
First place will receive a $150 voucher.
Second place will take home a $100 voucher.
Third place will score a $50 voucher.

NTCOGSO Annual Report Artwork Competition – Terms and Conditions
The 2026 NTCOGSO Student Art Competition is open from 13 April until 16 May 2026.
Eligibility
This competition is open to students enrolled in Northern Territory government schools.
By submitting an artwork for this competition, you are agreeing to the following:
1. Student’s Own Work
I confirm that the artwork submitted was created by the student named in the entry and is the student’s original work.
2. Parent/Carer Consent
I confirm that a parent or carer has provided consent for the student to enter this competition and for the artwork and student details to be used as outlined below.
3. Judging and Selection
The NTCOGSO team will select the winning artwork(s) after the closing date of 16 May 2026.
All decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. How We’ll Contact Winners
If the artwork is selected, NTCOGSO will contact the parent or carer using the email address provided with the submission.
5. Prize Delivery
The prize, a gift voucher, may be sent by post or provided in person during a school visit. This will depend on location and NTCOGSO’s schedule.
6. Use of Artwork
By entering, you grant NTCOGSO permission to use the artwork in digital and print publications, including but not limited to NTCOGSO’s website and 2025-26 Annual Report.
This includes the right to resize, crop, adjust or edit the artwork for layout or design purposes.
The student’s first name and school may be published alongside the artwork.
7. Student Photo Permission
If the artwork is selected for a prize, permission is provided for a photo of the student to be taken by a parent, carer or school representative and shared with NTCOGSO and Jacksons Art Supplies.
Images may be used on NTCOGSO and Jacksons Art Supplies social media platforms, websites and newsletters to promote and celebrate the competition.
