The Disability Standards for Education (DSE) are national rules made under the Disability Discrimination Act.
They exist to make sure that students with disability can access and participate in education and training on the same basis as students without disability
All education providers must follow these Standards.

When the Standards were first introduced in 2005, the Federal Government committed to reviewing them every five years. Reviews took place in 2010, 2015 and 2020 - and the 2025 review is now open.
